Alfiq is not my avatar, I just liked the image :) I definitely made sure to wait until I (and my tank) was ready for a new betta friend. And when I found this guy, I knew it was time! Thanks so much for all your compliments on the tank! I don’t use co2, just a very light amount of fertilizer. Mostly, I think I’ve just been lucky with a thriving planted tank. | |

His colours (but not body size) are really similar to the cat in your avatar, are they related to each other? I remember your response to my question about your previous Betta (may he rest in peace) from 4 months ago, and how you said you were preparing aquarium for new one; I am happy you got a new Betta. I do not know whether you are familiar with the movie "Finding Nemo", but the main character of this movie, Nemo the Clownfish, also has the same birth defect (his right pectoral fin is much smaller than it should). | |
